What’s a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a membership model for farmers who have a strong commitment to providing for the people in their surrounding community. By joining the Growing Family Farms CSA, you become an important part of the farm. You’ll receive a ‘share’ of the in-season produce  each week. We benefit too because your much appreciated financial commitment allows us to purchase seeds and equipment for the season ahead. Read More about CSAs.

2018 Certified Organic CSA Options

We are continuing to offer our Standard Box Share in addition to our Market Style Debit Account Share.

Egg Shares are by the dozen; every week with full shares, every other week with half shares. Yes, you can add a full share of eggs to a half share of produce and pick up 2 dozen every other week. We’re flexible like that.

CSA Distribution is:
on Wednesdays at 602 Peck Road (Spencerport) from 4-7 pm (4-6 pm fall share)
on Sundays at Brighton Farmers Market from  9 am -1 pm.

We offer box share delivery to local businesses with a 15 share minimum. Call Paul at 585-301-5926 for details and arrangements.

* We  understand that folks have busy summers; the Summer CSA consists of 15 pick-ups + 2 bye-weeks = 17 weeks.  Please communicate with us to let us know which weeks you will skip.

** Summer HALF distribution starts on June 20 and is every other week including the final pick-up on October 10.


Market Style Debit Account  **NEW**

The Debit Account offers members more flexibility and freedom of choice. Members will shop at either location and select at will from available seasonal products. The Debit Account may also be used on nursery plants, eggs and value-added products. You may replenish your account at any time and continue to receive your additional percentage. Debit Account funds may be used at the Brighton Winter Farmers Market, as well. This style of membership is great for members who prefer to select their product and quantity.
